With tears streaming down my face....

I left home for work this morning. My son missed his sister (who was on a sleepover) and was sad because he wanted to come to work with me but dad said he should stay home with Nan and Pa

It breaks my heart when my kids are upset but usually I can keep calm and carry on... Today isn't one of those days I guess. Maybe it's that another year is kicking off, my baby boy is starting his second year of school and my big girl will be in high school in a couple of years. It just feels like it's coming too quickly. I remember longing for each baby milestone and know I want things to slow down..... or maybe it's that I'm going to be 40 next year?!
